The Travelling Cat Chronicles.Hiro Arikawa

The Travelling Cat Chronicles is a novel that slowly takes you away with

gentle grace. Written with simplicity, it takes you on a journey with

Satoru and his cat, Nana (Japanese for “seven” because of the shape of

his tail). Switching narration between Satoru and Nana, the novel draws

you in and often had me in awe of its subtle emotional depth. Of course,

as you’ll note from the quotes on the front and the back it is

heartbreakingly sad… but it is also philosophical and kind. Both Satoru

and Nana are wonderful and wise; thoroughly recommended.
